Caterpillar Introduces 928Hz Ready Mix Wheel Loader

Caterpillar Inc., Peoria, Ill., has introduced the 928Hz Ready Mix wheel loader. The machine is designed for use in ready mix concrete plants, asphalt batch plants and concrete product plants.

The ready mix configuration features the highly maneuverable 928Hz loader equipped with a 3.5-cubic-yard sand and gravel bucket balanced by a ready mix counterweight package. The larger than standard bucket, good balance and short wheelbase of the small wheel loader deliver high productivity in the limited spaces of concrete and asphalt plants.

The ready mix loader configuration includes automatic ride control to cushion the bucket for a more comfortable ride and reduce spillage in load and carry duties.

The loader is powered by a Cat C6.6 engine with ACERT technology and a rated net horsepower of 149 and a peak net power of 160 hp.
