Caterpillar Inc., Peoria, Ill., has announced that it has selected the city of Qindao in Shandong Province as the location for its new Innovation Center for product development in China.
The center will be managed and owned by Caterpillar and will support several China-based ventures including Shandong SEM Machinery Co. Ltd., a Chinese wheel loader manufacturer.
