Caterpillar Inc., Peoria, Ill., has announced that it will begin producing work tools at a facility in Waco, Texas.
The new work tool operation will occupy a Caterpillar facility that was vacated in early 2003.
The facility will initially employ approximately 30 people, and employment is expected to reach approximately 80 in the first year of operation, according to a release from the company.
