“Equipment for the Recycling Industry” presents Eriez’ newest product developments in separation and feeding equipment for the recycling and waste processing industry. “We are excited to offer our new catalog showcasing our wide range of state-of-the-art products, including our brand new ProSort and FinesSort Metal Recovery Systems,” says Al Gedgaudas, recycling product manager.
According to the brochure, ProSort uses high sensitivity metal sensors aligned with low-energy electromagnetically driven paddles to separate valuable metals from waste material. Eriez also offers a different but effective method of metal recovery with the FinesSort system. This system recovers ferrous and nonferrous metals from the fines waste stream in scrap yards. “The FinesSort allows payback in as little as six months by reclaiming thousands of pounds of metals per day,” says Gedgaudas.
The new brochure also includes eddy current separators, drum separators, magnetic pulleys, suspended magnetic separators, electrostatic separators, mechanical feeders, rare earth drum magnets, high-volume feeders, mechanical conveyors and metal detectors.
