California Consulting Firm’s Office Earns LEED Certification

Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers Inc.’s office has achieved highest level of LEED certification in Truckee, Calif., to date.

The local office of Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers Inc. of Truckee, Calif., has been LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified at the Silver level, the highest level to date in the Truckee area.

 

BGCE was certified under the LEED for Commercial Interiors program, which is an option for any remodel or build out of an interior commercial space. Both the architect, Lot C Architecture, and the general contractor, Geney Gassiot Inc., also of Truckee, Calif., were instrumental in achieving certification.

 

BGCE has also been involved with the design and certification of the other three LEED certified projects in the Truckee area. These projects are the Natural Resource Management Center at Old Greenwood, the Village at Northstar and Schaffer’s Camp at Northstar.
