Attendees of the 2016 C&D World in San Jose, California, toured Zanker Recycling as part of the May 1-3 event in San Jose, California.
C&D World is the annual conference of the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA).
More than 60 attendees toured the site, which processes a variety of C&D debris on several acres of land. They also sell a variety of landscaping and road base products. The facility also processes drywall and has an on-site anaerobic digester it calls Zero Waste Energy Development Co.
Troy Lautenbach, CDRA convention committee chair, says, “Zanker is one of the best C&D recycling operations in North America because of the variety of materials it processes, as well as the number of lines it has on site, including two mixed C&D lines, asphalt shingle processing, concrete processing and wood recycling.”
