The company was granted a two-year permit from the state to open the facility, which will be located next to a landfill that has been closed and capped, according to the report.
The new 4.5 acre landfill will accept C&D material, including wood, plaster, sheetrock, rolled asphalt roofing, roofing shingles, insulation, flooring, brick, masonry and mortar, glass, pavement, stone, furniture and mattresses. The facility can accept no more than 30,000 cubic yards of debris per year and no more than 500 cubic yards per day.
