The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has just opened a new Web site on recycling construction and demolition materials.
Located at http://www.mass.gov/dep/recycle/cdhome.htm, the site features information on Massachusetts’ C&D waste plan, C&D recyclers in the state, and case studies on successful recycling activities at construction projects. Also included are links to organizations involved in C&D recycling.
Visitors to the site can download a sample C&D Waste Plan prepared by the DEP, and also have access to a C&D recycling costs calculator designed by King County, Wash., construction recycling program personnel.
Additionally, some six demolition and construction site recycling case studies for projects undertaken in Massachusetts can be downloaded by visitors.
