More than 170 recyclers and suppliers have registered for the 2006 C&D World Exhibition & Conference, also the site of the Construction Materials Recycling Association’s (CMRA) annual meeting, Jan. 15-17, at the Hyatt Regency Miami. Conference organizers inidicate that on-site registration options will be available for those who did not register to attend in advance.
The debris cleanup in the aftermaths of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita will be among the topics of discussion in the educational programming of this year’s C&D World Show. Mark Williams from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality will be joined by Marcella Denton from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to address attendees on the progress of hurricane cleanup.
Cecil Jones of the North Carolina Department of Transportation will speak on recycling concrete and other materials in highway environments.
In addition to the education sessions, attendees will be able to visit booths of more than 30 exhibitors displaying the latest equipment and services in the construction and demolition recycling industry.
