The symposium will feature 60 presentations and posters representing 11 countries, 33 universities and governmental and non-governmental organizations, according to event organizers.
Participants will gather “to engage in a dialogue about the reclamation and reformation of built environment material resources through education, research and design,” according to a news release promoting the event, which is being hosted by the Center for Building Stewardship at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. with additional support by the National Science Foundation.
More information on the event, for which American Institute of Architects (AIA) continuing education units (CEUs) will be available, can be found at http://architecture.cua.edu/reclaimremake.
