Budget Waste Inc. announced that it is expanding operations in the Edmonton, Alberta area. BWI began operations in Edmonton in 2006 and has realized great success in capturing a large proportion of the construction and demolition market. Now with a strong foothold in this market BWI will step up operations with more sales staff, additional recycling operations, and the placement of a significant amount of assets (trucks and containers) in the area. BWI will also expand operations into other sectors of the market including residential, and commercial waste and recycling services.
Kelly Podmoroff, VP of external operations, said, "Our growth in the Edmonton area has proceeded without a hitch. There is a very real opportunity for BWI to become the major player in this area. With more growth comes the possibility to capture new markets, the surrounding areas can become a strong profit center for the company."
