Brokk Inc. opens new Demonstration and Service Center

The 10,000-square-foot facility has been developed as a proving ground for Brokk and Aquajet equipment.

Brokk, a Sweden-based manufacturer of remote-controlled demolition machines, announced it has opened a new Demonstration and Service Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. With this new addition, there are now three Brokk locations across North America. Brokk Fleet Service Manager Randy Glidewell will oversee operations, and Mike Brott will serve as the site’s service technician.

The company created the Demonstration and Service Center because it needed a centralized location in the Midwest that could demonstrate both Brokk machines and those from Aquajet Systems AB, a Sweden-based company Brokk acquired in 2016. The 10,000-square-foot facility includes concrete structures, steel reinforcement configurations and Department of Transportation materials that act as a proving ground for Brokk and Aquajet equipment.

“The Demonstration and Service Center allows Brokk and Aquajet to better support our customers across the U.S. and Canada with quicker delivery times, faster service response, and access to our entire service fleet for a try-before-you-buy option,” Lars Lindgren, president of Brokk Inc., says.

“It is a place for Brokk and Aquajet customers to learn about our products, our company and become part of an enhanced demolition experience.”

The center is home to over 20 Brokk machines that can be purchased or leased. The demonstration area allows for hands-on experience so customers can explore options and choose what models and attachments best fits their needs.

In 2019, Brokk plans to host two open house demonstrations that are in conjunction with Brokk and Aquajet Demo Days. Individual demonstrations can be scheduled through Brokk’s Monroe, Washington-based office at (800) 621-7856.
