Britania Crest, a U.K.-based recycling company, has announced that it has purchased a new C&D recycling plant from Blue Machinery Ltd., based in London. The recycling company, which has been in operation since 1993, says it felt the time was right to invest in a waste separation system to improve the efficiency of its operation.
Britania Crest says its long business relationship with Blue caused it to purchase a Kiverco C&D plant through the distributor.
"With an investment of such magnitude, it was vital that we made the right decision and got a system tailored to our needs,” says Chris Foss, director of Britania Crest. “As a result, we spent a number of years looking at the various options available to us and decided to go with the Kiverco plant from Blue for a number of reasons. Firstly, we felt that the build quality of the Kiverco was unrivalled. Due to the strong manufacturing, we feel the robustness of the plant will ensure we get better value for money in the long run."
