Equipment distributor Sennebogen North America LLC has announced that Briggs Equipment Inc. will handle the distribution of its Green Line material handling machines in Florida.
Briggs’, with its Construction and Scrap Handling Equipment headquarters in North Carolina, will represent Sennebogen to its Florida customers using 15 sales and service locations throughout the Southern seaboard states.
Briggs’ Construction Equipment Division first took on the Sennebogen line of purpose-built material handling machines in 2003.
Company representatives say that expanding their partnership will be beneficial to both parties. “Getting Briggs to represent Sennebogen in Florida is a big plus for us,” says Constantino Lannes, president of Sennebogen.
Briggs anticipates similar success in Florida to what they have seen in the Carolinas. “Customer response has been excellent,” says Scott McGuigan, Briggs’ sales manager. “Florida is a good scrap market and a good port market, so we see a chance to grow our business here as Sennebogen grows its market presence in America.”
