Breaker Technology Inc. (BTI) has announced the extension of its distribution network in Chile through an agreement with GHH Chile SpA, according to a recent press release.
GHH will now be offering and servicing BTI’s full underground mobile mining equipment line, including the latest ScaleBOSS 3-D and purpose-built underground utility vehicle, the Mine Runner. The company made a few modifications to its rock breaker system "to meet the tight space demands" and to increase productivity in underground Chilean mining operations, BTI says.
"BTI's mobile equipment is of approved and renowned quality," says GHH Chile SpA's managing director Johannes von Westerholt. "Adding the BTI portfolio to our scope of supply enables us to offer our clients complete packages including all types of mobile equipment, which are required for mining or tunneling operations."
GHH has been a manufacturer for more than 50 years and is positioned in the Chilean underground mining market. They also offer a drill rig line.
"Now partnering with BTI is perfectly adding the missing piece to complete our goal," Westerholt says. "We are able to offer whatever kind of mobile equipment is needed for all underground applications in our market."
