The Stamford, Conn., Zoning Board has rejected a concrete company’s proposal to expand its operations, according to a report in the Advocate (Stamford, Conn.).
O&G Industries, Torrington, Conn., mixes concrete and processes demolition material for eventual recycling. The application would have allowed the company to rearrange some of its operations on the site, increase the amount of barge traffic hauling and delivering construction debris and add pavement and a concrete seawall, according to the report.
