BinMaster offers stockpile estimating tool

Lincoln, Nebraska-based BinMaster says the technology it offers can bring “precision and reliability to measuring and monitoring volume and tonnage in free standing stockpiles.”

BinMaster’s Stockpile Reports service automates pile measurement using pictures from a cell phone, drone, plane or a fixed camera, according to the firm. Data is accessed and shared on a web portal, “completely digitizing material management,” says BinMaster.

Each customer has access to a dashboard “populated with photographs, site statistics and materials report [with] vital information on the volume, tonnage and condition risks for each pile,” adds BinMaster.

The technology firm says its SaaS (software as a service) subscription “allows users to track pile inventory on a monthly, weekly or even daily basis.” BinMaster indicates the online service requires no special hardware and is scalable from five to more than 500 piles for one site or for multiple locations managed by a company.
