Bill Adams, senior vice president and chief economist at Dallas-based Comerica Bank, will be the keynote speaker at the C&D World 2024 conference and trade show, taking place Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 in Bonita Springs, Florida.
The Construction and Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) and Construction & Demolition Recycling, co-organizers of the event, say attendees will be able to gain valuable insights into the current economy and its impact on the construction industry thanks to Adams.
They describe the economist as having extensive experience in analyzing key markets and providing forecasts.
In his current role, Adams leads Comerica’s economics department, providing research and analysis that influences the bank’s key markets as well as business leaders and policymakers throughout the country, according to the CDRA.
Adams joined Comerica in 2022 after spending the previous 10 years with the Pittsburgh-based PNC Financial Services Group, where he served as a senior vice president and senior manager economist. In that role, he contributed to forecasts and analysis of the United States national economy and regional economies within PNC’s core footprint and provided forecasts of international economic conditions, interest rates and exchange rates, covering major foreign developed and developing economies.
