BigRentz, Irving, California, announced that it has merged with Illinois-based Lizzy Lift, a nationwide and international provider of construction equipment rental services. The merger increases BigRentz’s client base, catalog and rental partner network.
Co-owned by sisters Jennifer DuBose-Lombard and Elizabeth Faruzzi for over 20 years, Lizzy Lift is a provider of material handling equipment, aerial work platforms, high capacity and specialty equipment, site services, and more. Lizzy Lift will continue to own equipment and offer its equipment through the BigRentz marketplace, while BigRentz gains Lizzy Lift’s client portfolio.
By joining BigRentz, Lizzy Lift’s clients will benefit from having access to the BigRentz automated platform to easily and quickly book equipment through the website or their own customer portal, the company says.
“Jennifer and Elizabeth have grown a very successful business with a stellar reputation, and I look forward to having them be major contributors on the BigRentz leadership team,” Scott Cannon, CEO of BigRentz, says. “We’re excited to lever Lizzy Lift’s lengthy industry experience, product knowledge and long-term rental partner relationships, which all our combined customers will benefit from.”
“Our goal has always been to make heavy equipment rentals easier for our clients by leveraging technology and automation,” DuBose-Lombard says. “BigRentz has the technology infrastructure that completely automates the equipment rental workflow and the user interface that makes it easier for clients to not just book rentals, but also invoice management and equipment logistics. It’s a win-win for our customers and BigRentz.”
Terms of the merger were not disclosed.
