Badger Shredding Introduces Slow-Speed Primary Shredder

B-2060 series designed to process mixed C&D, industrial and green waste, wood, asphalt, plastics and more.

 

Badger Shredding Products Inc., Sturgeon Bay, Wis., has introduced its B-2060 line of low speed, high torque primary shredders.

 

The B-2060 line is available in either diesel or electric powered versions. The Badger Shredder has counter rotating twin shafts and is designed to process concrete with rebar up to 1 inch in diameter, according to a press release from the company. The machine shears rebar in small lengths allowing extraction from concrete using an over-belt magnet system. The machine will process the material down to 5-inch minus size.

 

According to the release, the Badger Shredder is capable of processing up to 300 tons of material per hour. It measures 8 feet wide by 11 feet high.
