Badger Shredding Introduces Low Speed Shredder

Model B2060T is designed to process scrap metal material, concrete with rebar and other C&D materials.

 

Badger Shredding Products Inc., Sturgeon Bay, Wis., has announced the introduction of its B2060T crawler mounted, low speed, high torque shredding machine.

 

The remote controlled B2060T has a Rexroth hydraulic system that is powered by a 9-lieter, 325-hp John Deere diesel engine. The 5-foot-square processing chamber has twin counter rotating shafts that have 13 replaceable blades and two sets of replaceable cutting teeth per blade that rotate between 12-17 rpm.

 

The machine is equipped with a cross-belt magnet and the discharge conveyor has a discharge height of 10 feet. The general dimensions of the machine are 10 feet wide, 31 feet long, 11 feet, 3 inches high, and it weighs approximately 75,000 pounds.

 

The machine is designed to process scrap metal material, concrete with rebar, pre-cast concrete with seven-strand wire, asphalt, C&D material, tires, white goods and green debris.
