
Atlas Copco, headquartered in Commerce City, Co., has opened its 13th store in Pompano Beach, Fla. The store was opened to support Atlas Copco’s customer base in southern Florida.
According to Atlas Copco, the store will allow the company to take advantage of the strong road construction market in the area with its full line of Dynapac pavers and compaction equipment. Other products featured at the new store include the full line of Secoroc rock drilling tools, surface crawler drill rigs and geotechnical drilling tools and accessories. The Miami store also will carry Atlas Copco’s Powercrusher line of mobile rock crushers and screeners.
Andrew Andre, Southeast region manager for Atlas Copco, says that customers have been very positive about the new store. “They’re happy to see Atlas Copco make a direct commitment to support them down here in South Florida with new and used machinery, as well as parts and service.”
To strengthen the store’s operations, Atlas Copco has appointed Jeff Dolezal as area salesman and Mike LaZella as branch administrator.
In his role, Dolezal will be responsible for developing sales and rental opportunities in the South Florida market, as well as specific parts of the Caribbean market for Atlas Copco’s product lines.
