Atlas Copco, a Sweden-based manufacturer of industrial tools and equipment, has unveiled the newest addition to its fleet of hydraulic breakers. The MB750 features a new double retainer bar system and DustProtector II to help maximize the service life of the tool.
Powered by a combination of oil and gas, the MB750 recovers energy by maximizing the recoil effect, which boosts the output power of the breaker without increasing the hydraulic input power of the carrier. The result is less fuel consumption during operation.
According to Atlas Copco, the new breaker’s compatibility with a broad spectrum of excavators increases the available options on the job site. Additionally, the MB750 features quiet operation using a VibroSilenced system that isolates the percussion mechanism acoustically from the external guide system. Finally, the new retainer bar system added to the MB750 provides a maximum contact surface to the tool and lower hammer, and they can be used on both sides for extended service life.
