Atlas Copco, headquartered in Commerce City Co., has officially opened its 14th U.S. store in Phoenix. According to Atlas Copco chose the location, which opened Feb. 23, 2012, to support the region’s customer base in drilling, blasting and paving.
The new 9,050-square-foot facility is situated on 2.5 acres. The building includes three pull-through bays.
Ed Greer will manage the new office. The new office also will have Jerry Delrae as rental and service coordinator, Tim Fagan as project manager and David Arroyo as manager of customer service and parts.
Products to be displayed at the new office include Atlas Copco’s surface crawler drill rigs, which includes its top-hammer FlexiROC T35, SmartROC T45 and the down-the-hole SmartROC D65. Road construction that will be marketed at the Phoenix office includes the Dynapac F1000T highway class tracked paver designed specifically for the North American market, as well as Dynapac compaction equipment. The store will also carry Powercrusher mobile track-mounted crushers and screening equipment.
