Wood joins aggregates at Astec ConExpo display

Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Astec Industries Inc. says in addition to showcasing its traditional aggregates (Rock to Road) product line, it will be displaying its newest horizontal grinder at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2023 in mid-March in Las Vegas.

“We are excited to share this development and explain the new features we have to offer,” Astec Product Manager Michael Spreadbury says regarding the new grinder “There is a lot of interest before the show. We look forward to showing our visitors how this new horizontal grinder can increase their productivity and efficiency.”

Astec (which acquired the Peterson Pacific line of wood grinders in 2007) says it will have product managers and subject matter experts staffing its booth to offer walk-arounds and up-close views of the new machine. 

The new forestry and environmental recycling equipment will be on display at Booth C30235 at ConExpo, “along with several other new innovations,” the company says.

Astec is a global manufacturer of specialized equipment for asphalt road building, aggregate processing, concrete production and other material processing sectors.
