Concrete from the old Badger Army Ammunition Plant in Baraboo, Wis., will be reused in the reconstruction of part of a central Wisconsin highway, according to a report in the Duluth News Tribune (Duluth, Minn.).
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) plans to grind more than 80,000 tons of concrete from the plant’s buildings as part of a renovation of Wisconsin 78 in two years, according to the report.
