Amerimulch, Independence, Ohio, has forged an agreement with an Australian company that will distribute Amerimulch colorant products in Australia and New Zealand.
The agreement between the two companies calls for Australian Colour Mulch Pty Ltd. to initially import Amerimulch colorants with an eye an growing the business to an extent when a separate Australian colorants manufacturing plant can be established.
“This is a true partnership opportunity,” says George Midlik, regional sales manager for Amerimulch. “It was important to us that our agent in Australia have a real vested interest in making this work. Their ownership of the opportunity will help them to succeed, by really allowing them to help their customers to succeed.”
Midlik says there is a “large demand for colored mulch in Australia,” and that Amerimulch is confident it has aligned itself with “good, intelligent and honest people who work hard and who are going to make this venture work.”
