American Fiber Green Products, Inc. announced that it has initiated plans for construction on the first fiberglass recycling facility using its patented process. The company, in conjunction with American Commerce Solution, Inc., has issued a Request for Proposal to quantify the cost of fabrication.
Daniel Hefner, president of American Fiber Green, stated, "Starting the process of getting our first recycling facility up and running to implement and commercialize our proven technology is the next logical step in the evolution of our fiberglass recycling and green strategy for the company."
Advantages of the system include the following:
-- Assembly line type of production at a central location allows for multiple plant site locations to be developed simultaneously, both in the U.S. and abroad.
-- Transportation costs are greatly reduced using standardized containers shipped by truck, rail or by ocean freight.
