John Griffith, CEO of Alpine Waste & Recycling, has been nominated for ColoradoBiz Magazine’s CEO of the Year award for the second consecutive year.
The editorial board of ColoradoBiz Magazine selects finalists for the award based on a company’s financial performance, operational excellence and community involvement. Finalists are also considered based on efforts taken to embrace sustainable business and management practices.
"It is exciting to be nominated a second time for CEO of the Year," said Griffith. "This recognition is a reflection of the commitment and hard work of all our employees, and validates our belief that excellent customer service spawns success."
Griffith founded Alpine in 1999 with a single truck. Since then the company has grown to become the largest independent waste and recycling hauler in the Denver area, ColoradoBiz Magazine will announce the winner in its December issue.
