Randy S. Harris, manager of the crawler crane division of ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp., Cleveland, died in mid-May at the age of 47.
Harris joined ALL in 1981 and, according to company president Michael Liptak, worked his way up from sweeping floors to become manager of a company division. “The guy knew it all, in detail,” says Liptak of the crane knowledge that Harris cultivated. “But what really separated him from the others was that he didn’t just know how to do things, he knew why.”
Adds Liptak, “Randy’s personal strength, dedication and commitment to our company over the years was an important part of our growth and success. We are forever in his debt.”
Harris is survived by sons Lee and Kyle, both in their 20s.
