The Montgomery County Commission (Alabama) has approved a proposal for the addition of a construction and demolition debris landfill in north Montgomery, Ala., according to a report in the Montgomery Advisor (Montgomery, Ala.).
The proposal will go to the Alabama Department of Environmental Development (ADEM) for consideration next. If approved, the site could be open in 18 to 24 months, according to the report.
