The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has announced that it will conduct a two-day Industry Purchasing Seminar June 13-15, 2005, at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, Mo.
The program is designed to help equipment manufacturing industry professionals better manage the purchasing and procurement process. Sessions will be geared toward both the buyer and the seller and will target CEOs, vice presidents, managers and procurement and supply chain professionals.
The seminar will focus on four major purchasing issues: sourcing from India and China, managing commodity increases, organizing the purchasing function for effective decision making and measuring supplier/purchasing performance.
