Two representatives from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) have been named to serve on federal level Industry Trade Advisory Committees (ITACs), which are public-private partnerships designed to ensure industry input into U.S. trade policy negotiations.
Darrin Drollinger, AEM’s vice president for technical and safety services, will serve on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Standards and Technical Trade Barriers (ITAC 16).
Nick Yaksich, the association’s vice president for global public policy, will serve on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Automotive Equipment and Capital Goods (ITAC 2).
Both representatives have previously served on ITACs, and their current appointments are for four-year terms, expiring in February 2010.
