AEM Names Director of Statistics and Market Information

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has named Rex Sprietsma as director of statistics and market information.

In his new position, Sprietsma will oversee the association’s equipment market data reporting programs, both domestic and overseas.

AEM statistical programs cover more than 200 product lines and provide benchmarking and forecasting information at the county, state, national and international levels. The association is also developing in-country statistics programs, staring with China, to provide more in-depth data to program participants.

Sprietsma is an experienced equipment manufacturing industry executive. Prior to joining the AEM, he worked at WestfaliaSurge for 27 years in a variety of market research and analysis posts, most recently as the company’s manager of electronic marketing and market analysis.
