AEM Announces Theme for Annual Conference

Event will focus on global business and leadership strategies.

With a theme of “Shaken Not Stirred—Finding the Perfect Mix,” the 2007 Annual Conference of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) will help attendees find the right strategies to achieve success in the cyclical off-road equipment industry.

The 2007 AEM Conference will be held Nov. 11-13, 2007, at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Fla. The event serves as the yearly educational and networking gathering place for presidents, CEOs and other senior managers of off-road equipment manufactures and industry service providers.

The AEM annual conference will focus on global issues, with an examination of international markets and business options, and will explore workforce development with discussions of innovation and visionary leadership strategies.

The keynote speaker will be Marcus Buckingham, a best-selling author and expert on outstanding leadership and management practices.

Featured presentations include Aleksander Kwasniewski and Thomas Koulopoulos. Kwasniewski was president of Poland during the 1990s and is known for his market reforms that helped Poland gain entry to NATO and the European Union. Koulopoulos is the president of the Delphi Group and a leader and author on the social, organizational and economic impact of globalization and innovation.

A special “international forecast” segment will gather manufacturers, distributors and end-users to discuss the world outlook for construction and agriculture equipment business, with China, Korea, Japan, Latin America and Europe represented. AEM will also provide its annual outlook for domestic markets, including perspectives from a variety of industry sectors.
