Work has recently finished on ABC&D Recycling Inc., a 21,000-square-foot construction and demolition debris recycling facility located in Ware, Mass., according to a report in the Republican (Springfield, Mass.).
Six years in the making, the plant is now ready to get to work. Estimates are it will process up to 195,000 tons of debris per year.
Plans are to recycle up to 80 percent of the material that comes into the facility, according to the report.
Material will be brought in and out of the facility by truck and by the Massachusetts Central Railroad, using a track that runs through the building.
