Two restaurant buildings a what is described as a small venue hall could be targeted by commercial redevelopment efforts in Austin, Texas.
An online article on the Austin.Towers.net website says demolition applications coming up for review in the city involve projects on Fifth Street and Lavaca Street in Austin.
On Fifth Street, website contributor James Rambin identifies the Russian House restaurant and a shuttered event venue known as Trinity Hall as structures that would be taken down to make way for a new development.
On Lavaca Street, it would be Mexican restaurant El Mercado facing dismantlement to make way for another proposed structure.
