Chicago Pneumatic, Commerce City, Colo., has introduced a new line of hydraulic breakers that it says are built to last. Features include:
• A design that uses fewer components while offering the power needed on the job, according to the company
• A power-booster feature is designed to provide higher breaking performance in tougher applications without increasing the hydraulic input, the company says
• While the impact energy remains constant, the breaker increases the blow frequency, which the company says results in increased percussive performance
• The power stop function is designed to reduce blank firing, protecting the breaker and carrier and increasing the working life of the components, Chicago Pneumatic adds
