HCT reports receptive market for upgrade kits
HydrauliCircuit Technology (HCT), a McDonough, Georgia-based manufacturer of custom-designed excavator hydraulic kits, excavator guards and coupler kits, says the company is finding a receptive market for its products in the demolition, metals recycling, construction and forestry sectors.
HCT partners with original equipment manufacturers (OEM), dealers and attachment manufacturers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America.
According to HCT, Acme Flex recently purchased 20 HCT excavator guards, with an Acme employee saying, “They are great products, and we look forward to installing more. We are thankful for HCT’s support.”
HCT says its product line works with a wide range of attachments used in the recycling and demolition sectors, including hammers, thumbs, grapples and shears. The company says all its products are designed to integrate seamlessly with each make and model of excavator while reducing downtime and potentially costly installation errors.
In addition to its standard excavator hydraulic kits, HCT says its sales and in-house applications team works closely with clients to develop application-specific solutions. Thus, according to the company, it is constantly expanding its manufacturing capacity and investing in new technologies to stay ahead of evolving industry needs.
HCT’s product support representatives include technicians with backgrounds working for OEMs including Komatsu, Deere, Hitachi, Caterpillar and Kobelco.
In McDonough, outside Atlanta, HCT operates from a 40,000-square-foot facility that includes installation bays and a manufacturing area.
Viably adds Maverick Equipment as dealer

Viably LLC, the North American master distributor of Komptech equipment and systems, has partnered with Maverick Environmental Equipment to offer Komptech products and technology from locations in Michigan and Ohio.
“Effective immediately, Maverick will represent Viably and Komptech across Michigan and Ohio, further enhancing service responsiveness, equipment availability and customer support throughout the Midwest,” Viably says.
As an authorized Viably dealer, Maverick will provide sales, service and parts for Komptech’s line of equipment that includes shredders, screens, separators and other technologies used in wood recycling, organics processing, construction and demolition materials sorting and municipal recycling applications.
“We’re excited to partner with Viably and support customers with proven Komptech solutions,” Maverick Managing Partner and CEO John O’Neil says. “Our team is built around supporting customers long after the sale, and this partnership allows us to bring that service-first approach to a broader range of operations across the region.
“With our four locations in Michigan and Ohio, as well as our 14 mobile service technicians, we can give the support needed to keep uptime to the maximum. Our relationship with Viably goes back a long time, and we are excited to take it to the next level.”
Because of the arrangement, customers are poised to benefit from shorter lead times, expanded inventory and direct access to technical expertise, according to Denver-based Viably, which says Maverick’s established footprint positions the company to support customers with the same localized, service-driven approach that has become Maverick’s hallmark.
“Customer support is a critical factor in how we evaluate and build our dealer network,” says Kevin Yuncker, director of dealer development at Viably.
“Maverick’s focus on service, combined with their strong presence in the region, makes them a natural fit as we continue to support customers with reliable equipment and responsive local support.”
In addition to offering Komptech technology, Maverick provides sales, service and parts for several other brands of equipment, including Eagle Crusher, McCloskey International, Morbark and Terramac.
Viably is the North American master distributor of Komptech equipment and systems and acts as a United States distributor for Harp Renewables food waste technology, Scott Equipment Co. food waste depackaging and drywall recycling systems and MGL stacking conveyors and mulch coloring units.
