The National Demolition Association (NDA) is offering courses tied to its Foundations of Demolition Management Certificate Nov. 9-11 at the office of association management firm Smithbucklin in downtown Chicago.
NSA says its Foundation of Demolition Risk Management Course, offered Nov. 9, “will cover a broad overview of risk management topics in the demolition industry, from health and safety risks, to commercial risks, including risks to schedules, insurance and markets.”
The following two days, NDA will present a one-and-a-half day course on what it calls “proven estimating techniques for a wide variety of projects in multiple industries.” As part of that curriculum, says the association, students will create a sample bid and compete with fellow groups of attendees to create the most compelling bid.
“Attendees will leave this course with new information on the processes required to develop, organize, and implement an effective estimating program,” states NDA.
