Curbtender Sweepers LLC, Cedar Falls, Iowa, has announced its purchase of the Brush Hawg line of knuckle boom grapple loaders from Miami-based Iron Container. The product line specializes in collection and disposal of bulk waste, brush, debris and tree limbs. The Brush Hawg business now joins the growing portfolio of debris collection vehicles at Curbtender Sweepers. The Curbtender family of companies manufacture refuse trucks, leaf and debris vacuum trucks, mechanical street sweepers and regenerative air sweepers at its factories in Gothenburg, Nebraska, and Cedar Falls.

Brush Hawg limb and brush loaders have been manufactured for more than 30 years in Easley, South Carolina. More recently, Brush Hawg’s patented All Weather Cab (AWC) has introduced a new level of operator safety and comfort to the marketplace, Curbtender says.

“We are very excited to offer this new product to our dealers and customers throughout the U.S. and Canada,” Curbtender CEO Kevin Watje says. “By joining the Curbtender family, Brush Hawg will be able to expand its sales and service locations, as well as increase its manufacturing capabilities.”
