CP Manufacturing has formed a new Engineering Design Department and named Jim Weller to lead the department. Weller, formerly manager of CP’s research and development (R&D) department, will be responsible for R&D, as well as overseeing the design of all CP equipment and other elements of its MRF systems.
“CP’s screens and machinery are the most efficient and reliable in the industry,” Weller says. “We are now looking at our equipment and system’s overall design with the intent of providing value to our customer by making it easier and less costly to maintain. It will be my job to make sure CP remains on the cutting edge of technology to ensure CP stays at the forefront of material separation in the recycling industry.”
CP Manufacturing is part of the CP Group, which includes MSS Inc., Krause Manufacturing, IPS Balers and CP Manufacturing (Europe) Ltd.
