1. Nihot single drum separators. Amsterdam-based Nihot Recycling Technology has updated its single-drum separator (SDS) product line with the release of the i-Series. The line will initially be available in two sizes, the SDS 650-i and SDS 800-i. Features of the i-Series include:

• self-contained, plug-and-play units use negative pressure to separate materials based on density and shape
• a longer expansion chamber and blow-nozzle than previous models is designed to provide more consistent separation and adjustability, more robust components in a modular design, integrated return ducting and dust collection

2. Terex Minerals Processing screen plant. Terex Minerals Processing Systems, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has expanded its CR Series portable plant line with the addition of Terex’s Cedarapids CRS620S screen plant. The company says the plant features a next generation, patent pending LJ-TSV screen. Other features include:

• a “slant spring” screen suspension provides stability at all slopes
• a 48-inch-wide fines conveyor with an elevated discharge and two 30-inch-wide reversible cross conveyors that extend up to 42 inches beyond the main frame feed off-plant conveyors
• roll-away blending chutes and extended walkways allow easy access to screen cloth
• a low-maintenance flex shaft screen drive eliminates drive belt influence on the screen motion, belt whip, belt slippage and spring-loaded belt tensioners

3. Kobelco multidismantling machine. Kobelco Construction Machinery USA, Houston, has available its SK210D multidismantling machine in North America. Features include:

• dismantling can be handled by one machine and one operator
• speed and accuracy of dismantling automobiles with the machine is increased tenfold over hand dismantling

4. Hartl two-deck screening plant. Hartl Crusher, an Austrian company that specializes in crushing and screening equipment, has launched a two-deck screening plant. The HSP 3300 is a mobile, compact two-deck screening plant. Features include:

• compact design and high screening efficiency, Hartl says
• used in natural stone processing as well as in the classification and refinement of recycled materials
• ideal for use in road construction and earthworks as well as forest road construction and excavations, according to the company
• expands the company’s existing range of products as the model is a companion to the Hartl bucket crusher and bucket screener
