JESCO, South Plainfield, N.J., has acquired Standard Equipment of Frederick, Md. The acquisition consists of five new locations and expands JESCO’s coverage to the Delaware, Maryland and Washington D.C. metro area, according to a press release.
“We are excited about increasing our representation of John Deere and other quality OEMs to existing and prospective customers across Delaware and Maryland,” states Jon Robustelli, president of JESCO. “We look forward to implementing our goals and business model in these new locations and continuing our tradition of delivering outstanding customer service.”
JESCO will offer John Deere heavy construction equipment as well as John Deere’s CWP line, which includes skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, mini-excavators and compact wheel loaders to end-users in these new areas. In addition, JESCO will also offer its emissions solution products and services to contractors bidding on work in non-attainment zones.
JESCO says its large equipment rental fleet and parts and service departments will also be available in the new coverage area. The company says it has retained key Standard Equipment employees.
In addition to its new locations in Delaware and Maryland, JESCO has offices in South Plainfield, Fairfield and Lumberton, N.J., and Beacon, N.Y.
