Hilti, Tulsa, Okla., has introduced its new Hilti DS TS20-E electric wall saw designed to perform concrete drilling and sawing functions. Features include:
• Performance of cutting tasks to depths of up to 21 inches
• Hilti Traction Control (HTC), an electronic saw control system, is designed to make full use of the electric power available
• HTC’s sensitivity and efficiency are designed to prevent blade jamming and stalling and can extend saw blade life
• High-frequency motor is designed to provide an optimal power-to-weight ratio
• Blade speed is infinitely variable and can be adjusted o suit the blade diameter used and the type of material being cut
