The International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE), Cleveland, has scheduled its 37th Annual Conference on Explosives and Blasting Technique for Feb. 6-9, 2011, in San Diego.
The ISEE (www.isee.org) says companies are invited to exhibit to “showcase their latest state-of-the-art technology, equipment, design, products and services to the global explosives marketplace.”
The group, which was formed in 1974, describes itself as “a professional society dedicated to promoting the safety, security and the controlled use of explosives in mining, quarrying, construction, manufacturing, demolition, aerospace, forestry, avalanche control, art, automotives, special effects, exploration, seismology, agriculture, law enforcement and other peaceful uses of explosives.”
The ISEE says it has more than 4,600 members from 90 countries, with 34 chapters in the United States, Canada and South America.
