Waste Management of the Pacific Northwest (WM) has entered into an agreement to acquire Glacier Recycle, an Auburn, Wash.-based company that provides construction-related recycling.
In a press release, WM officials say the acquisition will expand the company’s “green services” related to waste reduction, waste recovery and the processing of waste into new materials.
Glacier, a construction and demolition recycling firm, recycles and processes recovered wood for the manufacturing of recycled wood products and for use as biomass fuel. The company serves the entire Puget Sound area.
