Rockster, the Austria-based manufacturer of mobile crushing and screening equipment, will be showing its new R1100 impact crusher at ConExpo, and will also host a game of chance with some “concrete” winners.

At the company’s display area (Blue Lot No. 931), the company will be showing off the R1100 as well as its “Duplex exchange system, which sets new standards in mobile crushing technology,” according to the company.

Rockster says it is not only presenting innovative technology, but that visitors also have the chance to win exclusive Rockster equipment with lottery-style scratch-off tickets.

Rockster lists the following as characteristics of its new R1100 impact crusher:

32 tons total weight; a modern and robust design; and crushing performance of up to 350 tons per hour. “With this machine, Rockster has not only successfully complemented its existing assortment of crushing and screening equipment, but also entered a new performance-dimension within the compact crushing class,” says the company in a news release.

“Our existing series of mobile crushers, with the 25-ton plant R900 as the biggest machine, has already proven itself and consolidated its position on the international market,” says Rockster CEO Wolfgang Kormann. “Additionally, we received more and more requests from our distribution partners concerning a bigger machine, covering a wider market segment. The target: a crusher that still features compact transport dimensions but, at the same time, boasts a performance level of more than 300 tons per hour, adequate for covering major [projects].”

The result is a machine, says Kormann, that “fits into the existing product line” and is equipped with a fully hydraulic drive system and a two-step and 1.8-meter-long pre-screener.

The Rockster Duplex exchange system is described by the company as being able to convert two bigger models of impact crushers (R900 or R1100) quickly into either the R800 or R1200 jaw crusher. “Both crushing units are interchangeable and can be installed on the same machine through the identical drive system,” says the company in its press release. “Within only four hours, the impact crusher can be transformed into a jaw crusher – and vice versa.”

With that option, the Rockster crushers can be transformed into a crushing and screening combination producing a 100 percent defined final product with just one machine, says the company.

As a ConExpo promotion, Rockster is providing visitors a chance to win exclusive Rockster equipment with lottery-style scratch tickets. “Watch out for the lottery girls, or pick up the ticket directly on the stand in the Blue Lot No. 931,” says the company.
