Columbus McKinnon Corp., Amherst, N.Y., a designer, manufacturer and marketer of material handling products, has introduced its CM Bandit ratchet lever hoist to the U.S. market. The company says the hoist is its lightest and most compact ¾ and 1-1/2 ton ratchet lever hoist. The product was launched in Canada last month.

CM says the ratchet hoist is the first HMI-certified ratchet lever hoist. HMI certification supports CM’s commitment to bringing its product line to its customers.

The CM Bandit has features that make the unit durable and simple to use, according to the company. Its compact design and short handle make it ideal for use in confined spaces, the company adds.

The CM Bandit’s durable upper and lower hooks swivel and are bolted-on for easy inspection and removal. These hooks also feature wide throat openings for quick load attachment. Corrosion resistant parts and American-made, gold chromate load chain give the product long life in even the harshest environments.

The CM Bandit is available through the Columbus McKinnon network of distributors. For more product details and specifications, visit www.cmworks.com/Hoists/LeverHoists/CMBanditRatchetLeverHoist/USA.
