Screen USA Inc., Smyrna, Ga., has added the 6090 trommel screen model to its line of portable screening equipment.
According to Screen USA owner Rick Cohen, “The Screen USA 6090 was designed to fill a gap in our trommel screening line. We offer the smaller TROM406HM and a TROM406HMSL, which are small trommel screens that target the skid steer market. Many of our customers have out-grown the smaller machines and need a medium-sized trommel, without the large price tag.”

Cohen continues, “The Screen USA TROM6090 is equipped with a stout 5-yard hopper, hydraulic tipping grizzly (remote control), 36-inch wide drag chain feeder (variable speed), optional shredde /pulverizer, trommel screen (easy change), and a 30-inch wide built-on high-speed slinger conveyor.”

Cohen says the machine is both portable and versatile. “This machine is unique to the market as it can not only be pulled by a 1-1/2 ton pick-up truck via military pintle, but it can be equipped with a shredder/pulverizer that will break up the clump soil/compost before screening. As the name suggests, the 6090 will screen approximately 60-90 yards per hour. In dry material it has exceeded 120 yards per hour.”

Screen USA, according to Cohen, prides itself in being the only U.S. manufacturer that offers portable shaker screens, trommel screens, starscreens, wood grinders and conveyors. More information on the company can be found at
